Your butterfly adventure doesn’t end when you leave the Butterfly House. Spread your wings and explore the Centre with Strathpine’s Free Butterfly Explorer Trail!

Begin your journey at the Concierge desk, to sign in and collect your clue sheet. Follow a series of clues leading you to different locations throughout the Centre, uncovering fascinating butterfly facts at every stop.

Fill in the blank for each stop on the clue sheet and return to collect your Butterfly Explorer prize.

The trail is free to complete and has been designed for young explorers and families to enjoy together. No bookings are required.

*Prizes are available while stocks last. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian while completing the trail.

Meet the Butterflies Along the Way

Before or after completing the trail, step inside Strathpine’s Butterfly House and experience more than 200 live butterflies fluttering freely among lush plants and colourful flowers.

Butterfly experts will be on hand to share fascinating facts and help you get closer to these beautiful creatures. You may even have one land on you!
